Winter Leave

Little did I know (because I don't read the schedule) that in the coming weeks, I'd be logging more than enough wooded nighttime machine gunning (which in no way kept me too busy to draw - chalk that up to IBOLC-induced ennui). Just one big exercise left, and I'll finally be done with the Army's slowest pre-ranger program.

  1. hi sir,
In your earlier posts you were talking about how to change orders, by going to the branch manager or calling an S1.
I was wondering if you knew anything about branch swapping. I'm a cadet who will be commissioned soon in ordnance. I would take IN, AR, FA, EN in a heartbeat. Specifically infantry. My poc is oren@wearenelsons.com

    Your advice is greatly appreciated,
    Toda Achi,
    Oren

    1. ma koreh, Oren -

The only way to switch BRANCHES is find another CDT from your year who wants to trade with you. Here's a good place to look: http://platoonleader.army.mil/

It looks like you just want something combat... if you can't find a swap, just show up to OD BOLC squared away and in good shape and you've got a good shot of getting EOD (from what I hear).

  3. Sorry kid, don't know how that works. At any rate, I'd see if you can even find someone to trade with, first. All I know is that it is possible, and look on PL some more. That's all I've got. behatzlecha
